I agree, and I would like to add "all of the coalition soldiers and Iraqi civilians".

Probably very un-military of me, but I also pray for those Iraqi soldiers that have been forced into service by a madman. I truly hope that they understand the directions about how to surrender safely so that as few as possible are killed.

I agree AFR.... I hope the bulk of them surrender instead of put themselves in harms way for a man who would kill them without blinking an eye.

I think it is important to note that the Canadian government is supporting the US in their "war against terror" as shown by the support in Afghanistan. We, like many other countries and many US citizens, are not convinced of the validity of this particular faction of that war.

Canadian citizens are no different than US citizens in their differences of opinion on this issue and similarly, there is no doubt that we want no harm done to the US and coalition troops and hope that they are quickly successful in their operation to free Iraq.

Here's another Canadian - and family of Canadians - who believe we should firmly allied to the US of A and vocally supportive of it in its efforts to promote world safety! We'd be the first ones screaming for USA assistance, if we were in need!
