and...I am approved!!! It is pending income verification but I am not worried about that!

Now its just picking SSR or OKW!

Could I give you an unsolicited advice?
I noticed you wrote DBF, just keep in mind if the contract is going to be under both your names and anything ever happens with your relationship you two will need to decide what to do with the ownership.
From personal experience the way to take a name off the deed is to pay it in full and then do a change of ownership.

Sorry if I sound really gloomy... just want to make sure you are aware of it.

CONGRATS !!! fwiw, if you are considering OKW or SSR for your Home Resort take a good look at resale listing because often these two resorts can be purchased at considerable savings. Click on The Timeshare Store banner above to get their latest listings; myself and many others here on these boards have purchased through them, they are excellent & knowledgeable.

I followed you over from the other thread. I am very happy for you and wish you the best. It is great that your DBF supported you and I am glad you were mature enough to know this is what you wanted and to get it for yourself without him on the deed. I know he is a terrific guy but us girls sometimes need to do things for us whether or not the man agrees or disagrees.

Let us know what you decide. Personaly I prefer OKW.

He is a terrifuic guy but this is the right way to do it...we are working it out hopefully where he will pay MF's while I take care of the monthly payment and thats how we will share it! If he hadnt of wanted to be involved I would have done it all myself and chalked it up to my independance...and still shared it with him.
