Patty, I just got back from my trip to WDW yesterday afternoon, and I'm running behind too. Don't feel bad. I had to leave a few days early to avoid the hurricane weather, and I was planning on getting my CJ's done (and swap finished) before I left. I had to pack suddenly and leave the next day. I'm going to work on mine today and probably mail tomorrow. The way I look at it is, I'll get to use some pix from this trip for my CJ's (hopefully they will fit the themes!).

Don't just you hate the way life gets in the way sometimes? I have been trying to get my sports swap items done for weeks and either DH gives me a list to do if I amnot working, or kids are home sick (today), and the rest of the crap that happens around here. Sometimes I wish it would all just stop for me and let me do the things I want to do.

Now - I suggested and my suggestion was taken by the Members of DIS CJ III and DCL CJ I that we mail our CJs "as usual" November 15th and then wait until December 27-30ish to mail the next round out....too much going on and the mail is insane!!! around the holidays - people out of town, shoping, cooking, extended families come a-callin' ...... The Horror of it All!!!

...anyway - we will take a Holiday Break....

DISney Cruise Line CJ 2 will start after the Holidays with the first mailing set now for January 1....2006

I totally hear you. I have bought all the supplies for my many swaps, exchanges, etc. But have yet to put them together! I don't know how I got signed up for 8 swaps/exchanges at once! ARRGGGHHHH Totally my fault though. I got organized and made a list of what all I have to do and will sit down this weekend and do them all in one day. Or, that's the plan anyway.

OMG - I totally hear ya! I finally typed all of mine up into a Word document -- due date, what I was making, and my notes on what I was planning to do so I wouldn't forget once I sat down to put things together. It also helped when I went shopping for supplies so I wouldn't make multiple trips! I was signed up for 5 swaps here, 2 on another board, plus 2 CJs. I must be freaking nuts.

We all get stressed and behind for SO many reasons. I think we should just DECLARE A NATIONAL DAY OF SCRAPPING. Not sure we could get a whole week to start. On that day NO ONE may interrupt us for any reason whatsoever. The family will have to prepare their own meals, handle any and all "emergencies" on their own, and not BUG US while engaged in important activity.

Shall we pick a date? Petition Congress? Or just plain go ahead and do it!

Yeah, I'm behind too. Maybe it's the time of year? Who knows. But I'd better get off my tush and get moving!

I am behind too. I have purchased my stuff a long time ago, plan what I am going to do, get started and then life happens! I just sit down to work on them and something comes up. For me, a lot of it has to do with my mom who lives with us. She is almost 85. Last week she had problems with her knees, so there were two doctor appointments that weren't planned and they both took about 3-4 hours! That can really throw off your schedule.

In a moment of infinite weakness, I said "sure I'll be the popcorn kernal for the boy scout troop." Noone told me the paperwork would do me in! Plus the sales ends the 30th and they want the completed paperwork--all of it--the 1st! It was a zoo when I went to turn it in.

Then my son is finishing up regular league football and doing a tournament team, so we are doing practices every night of the week. Of course, the tournament practice is 30 minutes away! Tonight and tomorrow are double practices. I can do a lot of things while waiting for them, but it is hard to make the swap items! I can cut sometimes, but hard to glue!

So, I am going to be lagging in sending my items in also. Just glad to know that I am not the only one!
