With July 11th coming up, and I can make our reservations for the 1st part of December 2013. I am hoping for some type of special offer and I know that I can change my mind at anytime, after all I am female.
I am 95% sure I want CR MK view, having a 4 year old we will retire early, so watching the fireworks from our room will be a plus. I have thought about Poly MK view, but it seems to far away, but how about GF MK view?? I do like the fact the monorail is right there. Ideas???

I am just one of those people who does not love the CR theming. I love going to Chef Mickey's but could love without staying there again. The Poly pool is great for little ones and you can still see the fireworks. Its not walking distance to MK, but the monorail gets you there quickly.

I'll put a second in for the Poly. We did 4 nights at the Poly on our last trip in November of '10 with a Theme Park view in the Tahiti longhouse. The entire family loved the view. Yes the castle is a bit futher away, but you are looking right at the castle with the fireworks behind it rather than at an angle as you would be at CR. You may be also able to hear the music from your balcony from the speakers along the Poly's beach.

I have also done a MK view at CR and enjoyed it, but I also had to look at the Convention Center's roof at the same time. I think the best MK view is still the Poly IMHO.

I absolutely love the CR, especially the views from the tower. Personally, I loved the theming and I LOVED the walkway from the MK to the CR. Much quicker than the monorail and super easy with a stroller. The CR (and of course BLT) is the only resort with the walkway. I would keep your plan to stay at the CR.
