My DH just realized last night when we were having dinner at Friendly's that you are suppose to put the hot fudge on your sundae BEFORE the whipped cream!He could never figure out why his never tasted as good-he put the fudge on last and melted the cream!HAHA

I use the foreman grill for it also, 2 pieces of bread, one piece of cheese, thats it, comes out great.

Wow, I've been making grilled ham and cheese for years!! I get Krakus ham at the deli and have them shave it (it's just alot of crumbs) Put your favorite cheese on a slice of bread..(i use shredded chedder) pile the han on top of one slice of bread and then flip put more cheese on top of the ham, then the other slice of bread. The trick is to butter the bread, not put butter directly in the pan and to cook it slowly so the cheese melts through all the shredded ham. It is so good...guess what I'm doing for lunch tomorrow? Looks like a trip to the store.

I prefer mayo too. I also like them on the George Forman with no added fat - the cheese stands alone!

Butter makes everything better/MIL. She even puts it in the tomato soup and my DH does it to. I dared them to teach my DS that artery clogging trick. I do like butter and they say its not anymore harmful than margarine. I feel like a factoid sometimes. LOL

DW Sue's secret for yummy grilled cheese sandwiches is to throw a little salt in the pan before frying the buttered bread. Yum. Salt, butter, and cheese. It doesn't get much better than that!!!

I make grilled ham & cheese, sometimes with rye bread or sourdough.
Hot tuna melts, when you are tired of plain ole tuna fish.
Also use 2 slices of cheese for regular grilled cheese.
OH and I have made grilled mozzerella cheese sandwiches for dd.

Right now I want to make panni (sp?) Yum, like with the foccaci bread I think.
