Catharine in the BOTTOM THREE????? SHe has an amazing voice..although I do think she lacks emotion, doesn't CONNECT, but COME ON! I said to DH last night, if this is how America votes, maybe we can't handle the responsibility of voting for a PRESIDENT!!!!

I think she has a great voice, but I wasn't impressed withher vocal Tuesday night. I was surprised after al the praise that she was in the bottom three, but was happy that Simon agreed that the vocal wasn't great on play back.

I thought Bucky would be in the bottom three as well.

That's probably why she's in the bottom three. I haven't connected with Katherine since the beginning. Plus she wasn't that great the other night, I was surprised at the amount of praise she got from the judges. At least Simon admitted that she didn't sound that great on the playback. Bucky did awesome the other night! I think the bottom three should have been Lisa, Ace and Kellie. Kellie was horrible, but she's got the popularity thing going for her. We're down to where song choices are very important - you blow it even once and you could be voted off.

Katherine has a good voice..but there is nothing special about her. You can find lots of good voices but having that special quality that sets them apart, that is what the judges call the x factor, I guess. Chris has it. He's gonna win this thing

I think America got it absolutely right. Katharine's performance was, if not down right bad, certainly nothing special. And don't even get me started on her stage presence or lack thereof.

Actually I thought she should be gone ahead of Lisa....really, Ayla should have been in the top 12 as opposed to Catharine...shes not that good and has a bad attitude.

I'm not sure about that either. I haven't seen her do anything. She does have a great voice but when I watched her Tuesday night I thought she was bad, then the judges were saying how great she was. I'm thinking are they hearing the same thing I am. Thank God Simon watched the tape and agreed with me. Didn't think she should go home. I think Lisa was the right choice in going home.

I like Katharine and was surprised that she was in the bottom three but I had to agree with Simon. I had it on my DVR and was very underwhelmed by her performance that night. But I think, like Lisa, she doesn't evoke emotion like some of the other performers do. People are very MUCH INTO the Chrises and the Taylors of this competition, I don't think the McPheever is very catching.

On the other hand if I could stuff Bucky and Kellie in a cannon and shoot them to ANYWHERE I would.... Sorry, UUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH....

The "bottom three" is actually the bottom two vote getters, plus one person who may or may not have been the third least vote getter, but who is added for effect and to give the show more suspense and keep people voting.

We must think alike - I always agree with your posts.

I thought Katherine sounded off on Tuesday night and after listening to Ace again - he better watch it or he'll be the next to go - such a disappointment Ace has been this year.

Katherine will be around several more weeks--maybe even down to the last 3 or 4. She's getting more polished every week, and she won't ever sing off tune.

I'm afraid the eliminations are really going to begin to hurt in the next two or three weeks.

If it comes down to simply voices for the final two, imho, I think it should be Mandisa and Elliot. If looks and stage presence are also going to play a part, then perhaps it might be Paris and Chris.

Kelly Ripa = Blonde. Kellie Pickler = Blonde. That and the name is about all I see that they have in common . I like Kelly Ripa; I am not a fan of Kellie Pickler.
