I think this one is the one I was going to get. I like the pockets on the ends. Now I'm sitting here thinkin' Dang! I shoulda bought it when I had the chance! Oh well. And I agree with trying purses on. You wouldn't buy a dress without trying it on first, right?

Funny..not in my local store.

I went in there over the holidays, it was me, a couple, and 2 employees. Both employees were helping the couple wrap/pay for ONE bag.

I'm standing there loaded down with shopping bags and my cheap nine west sling bag (dubbed my 'shopping bag' becuase it goes across my body), with sweat pouring down my face.

10 minutes later I get to the counter, I ask them "Hi - could I have a bottle of the suede cleaner please".

we don't sell that.

wait, i'm sorry...what?

yeah - we don't carry that. Next!

ok...i KNOW I can use any suede cleaner...but come on! you could at least be NICE to me.

I've had a good experience with DB. I accidently ruined the first DB I owned - an entire bottle of red medicine leaked into the bottom of the bag, ruining it. It was only a few months old. I sent it to Dooney hoping maybe they could fix it, but it was unsalvageable. For 50% of the cost, they replaced it with a brand new bag.

I've had no CS experience with Coach other than a couple times when I walked into one of their outlet stores carrying a Target purse, and the girls wouldn't give me the time of day. My gf works at an outlet now, and I'm so excited because she got me a $208 wallet and I'm only paying $75! Coach employees get a 65% discount.

Of the originals I say 1 or 3. I'm a Coach girl but I do like the #3 D&B bag.

I also like both in post 15 but the one on the right looks like the one from last year's late spring line. I'm not down with spending $500 on last year's bag. My friend Tara has the white one and it is filthy on the bottom now. It is rather large in person but I see you are looking at big styles.

oh - I could NEVER own a white bag! even a cheap one! I was just posting those pictures because someone said they like the "pockets"...

And I couldn't pay $500 for a coach bag...JMO...if I was going to pay that much, I'd buy the LV I like!

*sigh*...all you ladies who have DH's who buy you purses...you're so lucky. My DH continues to threaten to sell my "horde" of bags on ebay behind my back...
