I admit it, I'm a craft geek

The dollar store near me had glow-in-the dark glasses. But in the picture on the package, they almost looked like mouse ears. Hmmm. Put them together without attaching the side pieces, rubber banded the thing to a headband and voila! Fashionable Disney evening wear at a fraction of the normal cost!

I'm planning to debut them next week. Say "hi" if you see me! (unfortunately they don't come in lime green, although the yellow is probably close. :p )

LOL! Sounds fun, CoasterAddict! Maybe they'll attract the right type. ;)

I'll let you know. I tried to take a picture but it didn't work out very well.

How clever! Unfortunately, I'm craft-impaired. Even with instructions! LOL

The construction actually would barely count as a craft, but if I weren't so inclined I might not have thought of doing it.

The kit comes with two skinny light sticks and a odd connector. You poke the ends of the light sticks into the holes on the connector. If you're making glasses, you snap on the plastic side pieces. I took a rubber band and attached the connector to a headband.

A package of three "glasses" set me back $1.00 at the dollar store.
