I admit, I am MADLY in love....

....with Mike Wazowski!!!!!

I didn't see Monsters Inc. in the theater, we just got it on DVD last week, and this has GOT to be the funniest computer-generated movie ever! Whoever was responsible for animating Mike Wazowski seriously deserves an award. If you sit and watch all of his subtle and not-so-subtle gestures, it's amazing when you realize that someone had to PURPOSELY draw them all in.

Sully is a great character, but they gave a million more facial and bodily movements and expressions to Mike.

I have even found one "error" in the movie, in the opening scene where "Mr Bile" is practicing scaring a child. Kind of like an editing error.

I think they did a great job animating Randall too. Speaking of Randall... On the scare floor there's a leader board on the wall. All of the other monsters are listed by their last names except for Randall. I wonder why??

Anyone else LOVE this movie?????

P.S. Does The Disney Store have any cute little Mike Wazowski figures for sale??

Ian has a Mike W. plush that he just LOOOOOVVVVEEEESSSS.

It is about 5" or so round, and it is the cutest thing. I can see how you would feel that way. We have seen the video of this, oh, about 100 times since we picked it up.

We just saw it for the first time this weekend and loved it! I think that we'll probably buy a copy for ourselves now.

I bought a hat for halloween that looks sort of like Mike. It's a huge stuffed thing that's lime green with one eye, but it also has some purple on it, so that they didn't have to pay royalties would be my bet.

So you're supposed to think that the soccer ball that hit him is the same soccer ball. But like I said, the monster was on the OTHER side of the bed the entire time.

First of all, I couldn't care less about Ben Affleck or any other "star".

Secondly, don't dare lump me into ANY group or category, such as you said "all the DIS women". I am not "all the DIS women". I've met maybe 6 DIS women all together, and as far as I can tell, other than our love for Disney things and posting on this message board, we are all different and extremely varied in our personal opinions.
