I-75 through Georgia- traveled this week??

We are leaving on Thursday and I have heard many reports that I-75 through parts of Georgia is a mess with construction. Anyone been through there in the last week that can give an update?? I know that I-24 in Chattanooga is also messy with bridge construction and am trying to decide weither to take US-411 around the entire mess. You can go down US 411 till just above Atlanta.
I have checked GDOT and most of what I'm seeing says that there are no lane closures during the day.

We drove down May 7th through there and then back home on May 20th...

Construction did slow down a tad but that was in Tennessee not in Georgia. If there was any annoyance by construction was a bare minimum.

Depending on the day and time you could drive right on through atlanta without any trouble.... Also if you have more than 1 person in your car DO take advantage of the HOV lane Georgia offers through Atlanta, it will help during rush hour congestion.
