I-75, any areas of concern with protest?

For anyone who has recently or has anyone heard of any areas of concern with protest that are not peaceful with going down 75 to Disney? (in the Atlanta area and south)

I live not far off I-75 in Atlanta and I don't know of any reason for concern, but you could take I-285 and avoid downtown Atlanta. Happy travels!!

It depends on when you are going, of course. Atlanta is quiet right now (DD lives in Atlanta), but that could change quickly.

@ExtraMagic can tell you better than I, but I believe the 285 beltway takes you well outside of areas that have been problematic in the past.

Agree. In addition to Orlando being quiet, if you come in on I-75/Fl Turnpike, you're not going anywhere near downtown Orlando. You will be well West of Orlando.

We live in Athens and have to go through Atlanta a lot to go to north Georgia (we pull the RV through there) and have had no problems on 285 other than the normal traffic. We just went down to Bradenton a couple of weeks ago, 75 almost the entire way and had no problems at all.

Protests aren’t an issue for traffic really. The media way overhypes the areas impacted. At worse just take 285 around the downtown. But there is major daily backup south of 675 southbound for construction. We did a 45 minute detour on country roads to get around it last week. Just back today and it was backed up again.
