I wrote a post around 3 weeks ago about my granddad getting diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
Well...to make a long story short, he has been in hospital for 2 weeks now and not been able to get out of bed. Today the docs told us that he wouldn´t be able to have another round of chemo since his body responds so badly to it. They have decided, in collaboration with my granddad, to give him small amounts of some kind of chemo, which might give him a few weeks/months, but they don´t expect him to ever go home again.
I´m just so sad. 4 weeks ago he seemed fine, and was still working part time, and now we´re all just devastated. He is the head of the family, our rock, and kept us all strong when my mom passed away at just 50 in 2002.
