I’m confused. Dinning Plan and AP's

I have been reading on this board things about the AP that are given to the bride and groom if they meet there room block. I have also been reading that with an AP you can’t get the Dinning Plan. Is that right? I know they have a Dinning Experience that you can get with an AP, but it doesn’t’ sound as good as the Dinning Plan.

So what I am confused about it is, if we wanted the Dinning Plan, we would have to buy one day park pass for each of us. So would the rest of our stay would we have the Dinning plan or just the days we have a park ticket for?

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong...

You have to purchase a magic your way package which could be your hotel stay and just a basic one day ticket (you don't need a ticket for everyday you want to do the dining plan). This would enable you to be able to purchase the dining plan but you still have to pay the cost for the dining plan everyday, per person. I'm not sure of the cost of that but hopefully another disser will! Oh, and when your AP's expire, you can use the one-day ticket towards the cost of the next pass.

Yes! A few other tidbits - the AP is not dependent on filling your room block. Only the free hotel night depends on that. Everyone gets APs!

Also, the Disney Dining Experience card may be a better deal depending on where you plan to eat. For instance, most of the restaurants we like require 2Table Service Credits per person, so if we used the Disney Dining Plan, we'd run out of credits before the end of our stay. The DDE gives us 20% off at those restaurants instead.
