Hypothetical question with park planning

This trip isn’t being planned currently. This is something I need to know before we consider going again. Let me paint a picture:

We are a family of 4 who live out of the state of Florida
We don’t visit Disney often (2-3 years) so it’s important to get our money’s worth when we do
We do use DAS for my son and will probably do so in the future
Our next trip will probably be onsite
We plan on using LL and pay for any extra fees for the big rides so our son doesn’t have to wait in line long

Now say our family from Florida hear we’re visiting the area and want to come with us to tour the parks. They are a family of 4. Say they’re probably annual pass holders (not 100% sure). How easy or difficult would it be to add them to all our LLs, DAS (I thought there was a 6 person limit), etc.

Thank you for your help

We've had DAS in the past because of DH's mobility issues, but now Disney wants to limit DAS to those with autism or similar challenges. We went to WDW last November with DD and her family -- total of seven people and were able to use the DAS for all seven. We've resigned ourselves to not depend on DAS in the future.

They are limiting to 4 persons (DAS person + 3) and immediate family.

Given that and the possibility that your child will not get the DAS, I would utilize the LLMP for everyone. I believe you can coordinate your 3 selections. Utilize early morning and late evenings. Go for the rides with short queues. Keep in mind that rider swap, leaving the queue to attend to needs and meeting back up with your party, and even having your child and another family member wait outside the queue and join up later are available accommodations to everyone.

The moderators do a great job of keeping the changes updated. They are the stickies at the top of the forum.

DAS has a 4 person limit now and highly unlikely to get an exception for extended family to join.

For guests with a WDW resort stay LLMP and LLSP can be bought/booked 7 days in advance of arrival for up to 14 days. For those offsite both can be bought/booked 3 days prior to first park day for up to 14 days. You would need to coordinate and most likely try to book rides all together.

Thank you for your responses, my son is autistic and should qualify still, I think. If we couldn’t get it, we would just have to work without it. I’m actually glad they are being more strict with it, I think people took advantage of it, we’ve been using it for around 10 years.
