Hypothetical question: What if the Hawaii building is not done on time?

OKay, I am obviously reading these boards too much!! We are scheduled for the Hawaii building in December, long after the rehab finishes. There are 5 of us. I dreamt last night that we arrived, and were put in an unrehabbed room, with only one bed!! I went down to the desk, and tried to explain that there were 5 of us, and we needed a different room, and we were told "no", and that we should be grateful for what we had :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I woke up in a panic!

Ohh, another one with no contact?!

Yeah, but I'm not complaining. Since we've stayed there before I knew that I could contact them any time.

Jeffrey contacted me in the evening and what a delight he was.

Jeffrey is absolutely wonderful! And I've also dealt with Lynnette and she was great, too!

I'm thinking positive thoughts!
:wizard: It will be open...it will be open...it will be open! :wizard:

I wasn't complaining either. It is just unusual for there to be several of us and makes me wonder if a block of time is still somehow in Disney Reservation Center's control and not released yet to IPO. But I have no clue how it works. :confused3

But we'll all just keep a positive outlook.....and everything crossed!

I agree! I think it strange that so many of us weren't contacted. It's reassuring, though, that at least when we did contact IPO they knew we had ressies! :goodvibes

Positive outlook...positive outlook....

If enough of us have a positive outlook maybe the vibes will get down there! :rotfl:

Except we don't know if they already knew or were able to ascertain it after the fact?

Julia, that is so funny. :rotfl2: I hope there are no nightmares tonight! :sunny:

I hope you were originally booked in a concierge garden view room and not a lagoon view room, because according to the prices on Disney's web site, the 14th floor concierge at the Contemporary costs less per night than Polynesian lagoon concierge, but more than garden view concierge. If you were booked in garden concierge then I think Disney offered you a decent room, for your inconvenience. :)

We were booked in Garden View at a AAA rate of 348. We were moved over the 14th floor at the same rate (348) however, my confirmation letter says the rate is $1100 per night... I have now idea how they came up with that figure. Maybe so they can write off the difference as a loss??? Well, we are happy anyway since we should now have a MK view since we were given a King room on the 14th. We will let you know in a few days, we leave in the morning!!!
