Had anyone heard if it’s coming back around May the Force day? How long does it usually stick around?

The downtime is literally one day and even that they have managed to get to where they could don't overnight, the day is for testing and in case they need to tweak anything.I don't think you'll see Hyperspace Mountain this Spring, it might return for the release of Star Wars 9 but I don't think it's needed and the down time to put it up or take it down would be a disruption.

Good point. But I still think they will pause it this year, love to be wrong. But my gut says they will save it for another special time. The downtime is literally one day and even that they have managed to get to where they could don't overnight, the day is for testing and in case they need to tweak anything.
Launch Bay isn't supposed to close according to many Disney News sites as Disneyland needs as much capacity as possible. I think it would be fitting to do Hyperspace Mountain.I don't think they are going to be doing it this year due to Galaxy's Edge opening and aside from Star Tours, they want to pretty much keep all of Star Wars over there. I would even expect the launch bay to close by the time Galaxy's Edge opens.
I would love to see it stay Hyperspace instead of changing to Ghost Galaxy in September. I don't care for that overlay, but I love Hyperspace.

You're not alone. Regular Space Mountain is better than Hyperspace and Ghost Galaxy in my opinion.I guess I’m the only one here who prefers the regular SM to the hyperspace version (have never been around at the right time to ride the ghost galaxy version).
To me, the moment when we speed up and the goofy 60s music kicks in, is always one of my absolute favorite times of each trip!!
Totally agree. I'm not a SW fan, for starters, and I just love the music for the original. You're not alone. Regular Space Mountain is better than Hyperspace and Ghost Galaxy in my opinion.
I just saw a new post and low and behold they are bringing back HyperSpace Mountain!
