Hyperspace Mountain Out!

I think all it takes to beat these games is positive attitude and lots of practice. I have not yet played this game, and wont play it soon ( with my main characture, but will play tonight with mule) but i am sure its not different then blast in space. At first i couldn tmake it past level 3. I played a bit more and after 2 days i was able to score over 20,000 on the later levels. It got to the point that i was trading space suits for Fantasyland Castle retro pins, or anything that people had. I am sure after a few days of practice this game will be the same, but you will never win if you dont think you can. Its all about positive attitude. Good luck!

I can go through the first part fine but cannot find where to collect the packs need to pick up additional powerups and fixes. I look at the map but just don't see where?

Gamebot? Any hints?
Hope I'm not stepping on Gamebot's toes here, but basically each screen is a sector, so there are 9 different screens.

The power-up packs are represented by the little white stars in the map.

There are 5 that you need to collect.

Bigger fuel tank - gives you more time before you run out of fuel. Located in middle right sector. Go straight up from start screen to get it. DO THIS FIRST.

Shield Pack - protects you from big, red spikey thing. Located in center sector, but you have to get to it from bottom center sector.

Power Pack - allows you to get past vertical wavy red line. Located in middle left sector. Need to have Shield Pack to get it.

Micro Pack - makes you small so you can get in small spaces. Located in top right sector, but you get to it from middle right sector. You need to have Power pack to get it.

Magna Pack - Allows you to pull in ship parts that are out of reach. Located in top right sector also, but you get to it from top middle sector. You need to have Micro Pack and Power Pack to get it.

Once you've collected a pack, you operate it by pushing the corresponding number key displayed at the bottom of the screen.

FYI, for one of the ship parts, you will need both the Power Pack and the Magna Pack.

Refuel as often as you can.

As an addendum to my earlier post about scoring, last night I completed the game in about 10 1/2 minutes, with a score of about 14,000. I got about 11,800 bonus points for that time, which put me over the 25,000.

Let me know if I can give any other tips or info. :)

Thank you, dippy dawg. Between working on my school work, and working on my new room, I would have never written it lol.

BTW, I won the game again this morning but still no code; guess we do really have to wait for the link. :wave2:

Fortunately, I'm at work, so I've got tons of free time. :rotfl:

Thanks for posting all of the great tips and information. :)

Yes. Thanks for the tips!
Unfortunately, I have to quit playing it for awhile. I get too frustrated from it being so touchy and dying so often. :(

The front page link is now working, and it appears that it may be giving codes now (there is a space mountain room on the rooms list not owned by a tester)

I am going to test it now!

Woot! Woot!

Awesome! You beat that game already??? Wow, I so wish I was any good at the games... Congratulations on your new room!
 :cheer2:

It figured that I take a day off from VMK to do house stuff and they bring out something new! What about all the other ho hum morning when nothing is going on!

When I met Gamebot in WDW I should have tried to get some of his game magic rubbed off on me!

Well big things are happening here and I am going to put it in another thread~

Yet another game I will not master...OT: I was having a great fireworks game last night, well on my way to 240,000 points and I got the boot...I give up!

omgoodness, i don't think ANYONE can be worse than me at this game.
i can't steer the darn thing!!

Well, I completed the game!! It took me 19 minutes and did not get enough points for anything but I did complete it.

As others have posted, it is all about knowing when to hover, don't over shooting you target, lots of patience and for me, lots of practice. I only got 13750 points so as you can see, I am far from getting any prize but at least I know I can finish it. Now I have to work on collecting more points I guess.

I don't care for the fact that every time you save you lose points, I think that is a bummer. Oh well, off to try it again.

I am doing "ok" on this game... My high is 1:15! :) Now if only I could get one of those things you need... :P

My tip...

(and this probably goes against the hard core gamers) take your time. Ignore the clock. Get the six pieces and then build your score to 25,000. Save every so often (unless you are on your last life and then it's a waste of points). Use a spot like the middle of the game where there is little to hurt you and just keep moving to get the points. It takes a lot longer that way, but it guarantees that you will get a prize when you are done. If you race, you can get the code that way, but I think it frustrating if you don't get enough bonus points and have to start over.

Ok, so I am doing ok at this game...I learned to take my time and not try to speed through.
What I do need help with is trying not to crash into dangerous items!
Arg!

Alas...I will keep at it....

Well I stink at this game too! How pathetic is that? This makes the other TL game look easy. I slammed that poor space person into every rock, ceiling and wall possible!

Ok - I thought maybe maybe I had a chance to actually win a game. Nope - no chance whatsoever - Gr. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:
