Hyatt Regency @ MCO

DH and I have our WDW trip coming up in a week. We booked our last night at AoA because there was no availability at any of the DVC resorts. However, our flight the next morning leaves at 7:30am, which means DME would pick us up around 4:30am . We're debating about switching our reservations from AoA to the Hyatt @ MCO. Should I stick with our AoA reservation or switch to the Hyatt? It seems a lot more convenient to stay at the Hyatt, but I'm curious as to what you would all do?

Stay at the Hyatt and sleep in. The hotel is quiet, clean and their staff very helpful and accommodating.

We have a 6:15 flight home on our next trip and will be staying there.
No shuttle, just wake up and take the elevator downstairs.

That's exactly what we're going to do! So much more convenient than having to take DME at 4am!

We just stayed there a couple of weeks ago after taking a late flight into MCO so that my daughter would not miss that day of school. Long story short, the flight was delayed 4 hours getting in and we got there at almost 2am with a very tired 2.5 and 6 year old.
The hotel was FABULOUS. They already had the bed rails set up for my son, came to get at the luggage terminal, and then in the morning walked us (and our gaggle of luggage/carseats) over to the rental car. VERY clean and VERY comfortable! We would do it again in a heartbeat.

PS. Check last minute travel dot come- my rate was less that $100 for the night!

nice hotel. Staff are always kind and professional. They helped me out during a very stressed out airline fiasco. Had no clothes, no toiletries, nothing. They gave me a handful of toiletries (free) and I bought a nightgown at one of the disney stores. Food court right downstairs as well as boarding area.

I would stay at the airport. We're getting in late on the Jan 1st the night before our cruise and it is going to be so nice to get off the plane, grab our luggage and just head to our room!
