Are these propertys linked at all. Are they both owned by Hyatt. Looking at a mapquest map they appear to be close together but I cant tell if they are next to each other. Also do they share amenities like pools etc. Thanks

We're staying at the Villas for the first time in June. When we made the reservation we were told they share all amenities with the hotel. The properties are right next to each other but I'll be able to tell you how easy it was to go back and forth when we return. We have 3 young kids and the person I spoke to when making the reservation assured me it would be easy to use the pools etc at the hotel. I hope it is as wonderful as all the reviews I've read!

That would be great if you could let me know how it was. When are you going? Thanks

We're going the end of June when school gets out. We're not even doing Disney this time - the kids want to try Universal and Seaworld - but the Hyatt seems to have one of the best pools around (which is a huge draw for our kids). I just checked the rates and we seem to have gotten a much better deal than what's showing now. FYI, I found the deal on expedia but when I called Hyatt they were willing to match it if I booked directly with them. Check out Hyatt.com. It gives alot of info about the resort with pictures etc. It lists the villas as part of the Hyatt Grand Regency. We've had this booked for a long time so I'm guessing you're better off reserving far in advance when a deal shows up. I agonized over this decision (we were booked at Marriott Cypress Harbour but cancelled when I found a deal at the Hyatt) so I hope all goes well. Will definitely post for you when I return.

We are going for 10-11 days(Im lobbying for 11)the last 2 weeks of september. The pool is one of the most important factors for us as well. We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas the first 5 and are trying to decide whether to stay on site at a moderate or shoot the works at a deluxe for the 2nd half or upgrade to deluxe type accomodations off site (but still LBV)at an on site moderate price. We were looking at Sheraton Vistana but the reviews on this site were way to varied to take a chance. If your info is correct it would be hard to turn down as the Grand Cypress is incredible but $250.00 and up per night would be a little hard to take and I would opt for the Poly if I was going to spend that type of $. Im looking forward to your review as we will not have booked anything before you return.

We grabbed a rate of $221/night for a 1 Bedroom villa which I thought made the decision easy. I would love to stay at the Boardwalk as I hear the pool is awesome but we just hate cramming everyone into 1 standard room (which is all we could do there).
