Does anyone know if this hotel ever is on hotwire? If so, what are its identifiers? Also a good price?
We are arriving at 5:45 from the west coast and would like somewhere to sleep for a few hours. A shower would be nice, too!
Thanks, Debbie

I would like to follow this too, since we are arriving 11 pm one night and do not want to arrive at WDW around 1 am. Would rather go to sleep as soon as we get to MCO, wake up refreshed, ready to start the trip. I have a ressie now under the AAA rate, but of course am looking for the cheaper way out LOL!

I recommend going to www.betterbidding.com

On thier message boards they have hotwire listings showing the icons that the Hyatt comes up as. If you see an EXACT match to thier listing chances are good it's the Hyatt, but the last few times I have looked I have not seen a good deal at all!

Yes, it's on Hotwire sometimes for a really good deal (I got it twice - $80 and $86 incl tax!). 3.5 star with tennis. ;) Good luck! It may not show up for busier times.

I just realized you probably mean 5:45 AM. Call the Hyatt and ask about a day rate. They have a program where you can just pay for "part" of a day. I know folks on the cruise board have done this, but you have to book it with the hotel directly.

Thanks Carol!
I called Hyatt and was told the day rates are from 10AM-6PM, but if I called a few days before they would know occupancy levels, and if not full, we could check in earlier. I have already made a regular reservation for $183 without tax.
If this works, I'll save $100!
DISBOARDS rock! :yay:

was getting the Orlando airport Hyatt for the night before our DCL cruise (7/04). I only knew about it (what Hotwire icons to look for) thanks to a post by a DIS member. The price, drumroll please............... $24.99 !!!! I was THRILLED to say the least. I really felt like I had won the lottery!

DznyAcct--What was the date of your fabulous rate? How many days in advance did you get it?
I get so pumped when I see postings like this. Have to remind myself it wasn't me that got it!

50 years Too! ~ Oddly enough, I remember the exact date only because it is my nephew's birthday. It was 11/11/03 and our night at The Hyatt was ~ 7/18/04. DH and I are talking about doing another Disney cruise. We will definitely fly in the night before and stay at The Hyatt. Our flight got in late afternoon. After having dinner at Chili's Too, we all headed to the rooftop pool, which was way too cool to be swimming and watching the planes fly in. The next morning we (me, DH, DS and DS's best friend) were refreshed and ready to start our adventure. The cruise was THE best vacation we have ever had. And the fact that we spent 9 days at WDW afterwards helped too!!

We got this hotel on the Hotwire website. Look for the tennis icon. I did book it while on our trip. We had our computer with us. I tried numerous times before our trip to no avail. The closer to your stay the more likely this hotel may be available.
