Hyatt Place Orlando/Universal ?? Any thoughts?

Hello everyone! We are hoping to head to WDW in December, and, I wondered about the Hyatt Place Orlando/Universal. Has anyone had experience with this hotel? If so, what can you tell me??

Haven't stayed at that Hyatt Place. But I do know that Hyatt Place's are renovated Amerisuites and the rennovations have been recently done. We stayed at one at the Indianapolis airport and it was very nice!

Ah! Good to know. I recently stayed at a similar place in Anaheim, that was changed from an old hotel. It was gross! ha!

Did you check out the hotel online? It looks great and Ive read several good reviews when I google it. I am booked to stay 4 night in June.. Ill defanitely be reporting back on how it was. I already talked to someone else here on DIS that just came back and they loved it!

Great! Can't wait to hear about it. The price is awesome! We normally go to DL (we live in Seattle), and, I know virtually nothing about Orlando hotels, but, don't want to pay an arm and leg for a hotel, considering we are never there!
