We are flying to MCO on 10/11 but our reservations for OKW is from 10/12-10/17.

We have points at Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott to cover the night 10/11.

What is a good hotel to stay prior to trying to get over to OKW on 10/12 to pick up our room keys? (convienance, transportation costs). We do not have a rental car. I thought the Hyatt would be a good choice so we could take the Magical Express transportation and save taxi.

The Hyatt is excellent for ease and convenience. Just hop on the escalator and voila you are in your hotel. Doesn't get any easier.:thumbsup2

We have stayed at several of the airport hotels and would recommend the Hyatt 100%...especially if you don't have a car. We always get a late flight into Orlando and it is so nice to grab the luggage and walk right to the hotel.. Then we get our rental car in the am...

I do not think that you can beat this hotel:thumbsup2

For convenience and location, the Hyatt MCO cannot be beat.

That being said, we arrived on very late flight last summer and wanted to save money by spending the first night at an airport hotel. We used Priceline and ended up with the Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport.

They are very close to the airport and run a courtesy shuttle. We just had to call them when we had gathered all our luggage and they were there within 10 minutes.

We took their shuttle back to the airport the next morning and used Magical Express to get to our WDW resort.

Our winning bid on Priceline was $50 for a 3-star. The Hyatt is often available through Priceline also, but we were very happy with the Sheraton.

Agreed, the Sheraton Suites is also a great choice. We also received that hotel and we love it for the night before we leave.

We have the Hyatt in the airport for the night our flight comes in as we get in at midnight through Hotwire for $84 and then we received the Marriott Airport for the night before we take off on Priceline for $54. We would have waited and kept an eye out for the Hyatt on Priceline, but I definately wanted it and could tell that it was the Hyatt on Hotwire. We have successfully received the Hyatt on Priceline for as little as $45 per night on numerous occasions....

I often win the Marriott and that's fine with the shuttle too. And if I want a breakfast, I bid at the 2 1/2 * level on Priceline and get one of the two Amerisuites. They also have a shuttle to either airport property.
