I am planning a trip in mid-November and am trying to decide between the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress and the Hilton Bonnet Creek. I've read glowing reviews of each property so it sounds like I can't go wrong either way. The Hyatt will be a touch more pricey over the 4 nights we are going. Can anyone compare-

Pools- which is better, are they both heated?
Rooms- any big differences in size/amenities?
View- which one would have a better view of fireworks assuming we have a 'Disney view'-type room?
Location/Surroundings/Appearance- btw, we will have a car to get to the parks

Thanks for your help!!!! :goodvibes

I have stayed at both. The Hyatt is more spectacular though older and a hair dated. The grounds are huge and wonderfully landscaped. The pool is huge and has caves and large waterfalls. The location is good though you have to go out onto Apopka Vineland road which SUCKS!!!! We have had a great view of the MK fireworks and saw the Epcot from a hallway window.
The Hilton is more modern and more compact. The rooms are a bit smaller but nicely decorated. The pool was fun with a float creek kind of feel but it is smaller and less spectacular than at the Hyatt. We had an angled view of the Epcot Fireworks from our room with the MK right behind them. We went down the hall to the window for a better view. The location is great and it is easy to go out the road to the parks.

Both places are really good, comfortable and fun. It comes down to the pool and I like the one at the Hyatt better.
