Does anyone know of any special codes are discounts for this hotel. We are arriving after midnight and I would prefer to stay there, but their rate is 174 night. Thanks.

They don't have a lot of discounts. Did you try the internet rate on hyatt.com?

Yes, checked internet rates. I recall we stayed there several years ago and got a great internet rate of something like $75n. It was great. Thanks.

The Hyatt.com rate is the cheapest you'll find unless you take the chance of using Priceline or Hotwire, etc. It seems like a lot of Disney people have increasingly used the Hyatt for pre or post WDW and DCL stays. I'd prefer to pay less but in the end it's worth the extra money to stay there. We stay one night every trip to Orlando. If you travel a lot I would look into their gold passport program. Nights can rack up quick, especially when you order room service or if you are affiliated with any of their partners. I love this hotel and so do the kids! Good luck!

We stayed at the MCO Hyatt the first and last night of our last trip. We arrived late and had an early flight out. While we enjoyed the convenience, I don't think it would have been worth anything near what their rate is. For us it was free with a rewards point program and that, of course, made it worthwhile. If we had to pay, I think I would rather just go to my Disney hotel no matter how late it was. Moving from hotel to hotel took a lot of effort and energy.

I'm having the same dilema  . Our flight arrives at 11:30 at night so we would be spending twice the amount we'd spend at the Hyatt to sleep for 7 hours at BWI. It depends on where you are staying at WDW to see if it's worth you staying at the Hyatt for the night at a rate $174 (without tax?). I'm guessing if you are doing a value or mod just go on to your WDW hotel because I'm sure you are paying less then that, right? However, if you are staying deluxe with a room rate higher than this - I would definitely consider camping out to save a few bucks. I couldn't find anything below $300 a night at BWI for my dates so I'm leaning towards crashing at the Hyatt for the night and get up early and start our adventure. I hear it's a nice place also. :) A $100+ savings is $100+ savings. That's half a 50 minute aromatherapy massage, a really awesome dinner out, town car transfer....just another way at looking at it. :teeth:

Thanks for all the suggestions. I guess I was looking for a small miracle. My sister agrees with you - that moving is tough each time it is done. I think I will just head to our hotel - we are staying at the Royal Pacific at Universal - our rate is $139.
