Hyatt Airport to Cruise

HI All,
We (2 Adults & 2 Kids) will be staying the night before our cruise at the MCO Airport Hyatt and then going on the 7 night Disney Cruise. Does anyone know the most cost-effective transportation to Port Canaveral?

Are we eligible for the Magical Express free transportation? If not, is it cheaper to do 2 one-way car rentals? Any other thoughts?

Magical Express is only for transportation to WDW. I think two one-way car rentals will be your least expensive way to get to the port. I used Avis once, and that worked fine. Others use Budget.

I'm pretty sure that the Disney Cruise Line buses run from the Hyatt.... we know of some people that have done that and have used the buses from there. I think they do charge you though, for a voucher fee. If you call the DCL phone #, I'm sure they can help you out. I know that the people we know that have used the DCL buses were satisfied with this mode of transportation. We rented our own car, but we stayed in Port Canaveral the night before so we could do some things. Renting a car and returning it there is easy as well!

The Hyatt Concierage have a very good handle on transportation to the Port. They might be able to help you out with a reasonable figure.

You can purchase transportation through DCL. Motor coach, $59 per person, R/T. We went with a group to the Cruise from an off-site hotel. My nephew and I used Sunray Transportation after the cruise. Highly recommend them.

Yep, Rental car would be the cheapest approach (Figure on around $60 r/t for as many people as you can slam into a fullsize car). Obviously, the easiest way would be to get a Limo or Town Car, but that runs you somewhere in the area of $200-$250 out the door r/t...

We generally travel as a couple, so the DCL transfers work well for us. The Disney magic begins when we board the bus at MCO!

Of course once you add a third person there are less expensive alternatives.
