Husband says he is now 39% excited. LOL!!!

Hey everyone! I just thought id share this milestone with my Dis family!

DH and I are planning our very first trip together for January 2010. (he has never been before. Ive been 5+ times)

It litterally took THREE YEARS to convince DH to go on a WDW vacation!

I have been subtley (or not ) showing him Travel channel shows on Disney, youtube videos, or just so happen to read a cool factoid outloud from my planning books over the past six months, and today we were talking about it and he said...

"I have to admit, I thought it was a lot different at first. I was like 0% excited to go on this trip. But once I learned how big it is, all the different parks and resorts...I dont think it will be so bad. I might even enjoy it. Im like,...39% excited now."



Its progress! I was actually thrilled when he said this! I can work with 39% maybe in another 6 months we can get that to 79%!

39% that's too funny. We have been going to WDW for 11 years now and have 13 trips under our belts. And we stay 100% excited. Don't worry, you'll get him to the 100% mark!

Are we married to the same guy? DH has been once, back in high school , with the band and I guess it just didn't do it for him. I've been talking about WDW for 3 years and finally just decided to book the trip whether he wanted to go or not.

We were sitting on the couch and I just looked at him and said, "The girls and I are going to Disney World in November, we'd love for you to come with us, but we're going either way". He just stared at me like I had 3 heads,lol.

Now, I've made a deposit, and I've been talking it up and he's starting to get a little excited, probably about 39%! LOLOLOL

my hubby loves its alot but he is the type to say "tell me when to pack my bags" and I will be there. Gotta love him!!

My DH was the same way before our first trip together. I was afraid he wouldn't like it and wouldn't want to go back. Once he got there he had a blast and now we are going every other year. Now he isn't like me and that is all he thinks about so I have to watch how much I talk about it but he did love the place.
