ATrip to WDW:confused3:rotfl:...........
my husband didn't want a party either when he hit his 40's........I think it made him realize he WAS the "midlife" crisis:rolleyes1. Maybe a quiet candlelight dinner at home with just the both of you.

A trip to the spa for a couples massage

A new "toy" like a :surfweb:, or :scratchin:
:moped:, :car:, :genie: :rotfl:

or just a card, a cake and a dinner cruise :boat:

Without knowing what his likes and dislikes are what about a date night like dinner and bowling/karoake/movie.

Does he like a certain football team-- get him a jersey. I think the website NFLSports.com or something close and you can get one personalized.

How about 40 small gifts (socks, underwear, movies, etc..) wrapped and hidden around the house and car that he can discover throughout the day.

A romantic over night stay at a local hotel or bed and breakfast.

Tickets to a local sports event or a tour of your city.

Hope these help.

I am also turning 40 next month and my family is treating me to a trip to DL!!! :lovestruc
I decided if I have to acknowledge the darn birthday, atleast I'll feel like a kid doing it.

But if you can't swing DL/WDW how about a nice little over nighter somewhere even a local hotel.
