So when does the new TR start?
I have to finish this one. Dennis and Michelle did things hoping they would make the TR. Dennis asked me yesterday if I had started it yet and was disappointed when I told him I didn't know if I would do one or not. Michelle was so much fun on this trip. She has finally out grown most of her teenage moodiness and has grown into a lovely young woman. I'm thinking about having her join up so she can help me write it. I'm interested to hear her point of view. I was the brunt of many of the family's jokes because of my obsessive planning and just general Disney obsession.

It's time to finish this report but I have to admit I'm having trouble remembering what all we did and when. This part get kind of sketchy.
I know I mentioned that pin trading was a big part of this trip. Somewhere along the line Danielle decided she wanted the Princess Cuties. Now I could have just bought the whole set and saved some time and money, but fun would that have been. As we entered our last park day Danielle only needed Ariel and Aurora. Lots of time was spent looking for these 2 pins. About halfway through the day she finally got Ariel, but she still needed Aurora.
For some reason we didn't meet back up with Tena right after TT, I think she was riding TSM again. I don't remember the exact order of stuff after lunch but I do know Danielle and I rode TSM 4 times, Bailey rode it 5 times and Tena 6. Danielle and I rode TT 3 times and Bailey rode it 2 times. Having that guest pass really helped free up the FPs for the other 2 big rides.
The girls and I took some pictures around Muppets while we waited for Tena.
After meeting up with Tena we entered Muppets. Muppets was a favorite of ours when we were kids. She was real excited about seeing it although the girls could have cared less.
I have to admit it has gotten pretty old for me and really needs some work to bring it up to par with the other 3D shows. I do still enjoy the Muppets, but I did doze off for just a little bit.
After this we started heading for the front to exit for our break. It had gotten a little late by this time it was about 2:15 and we had a dinner ADR at Prime time for 5:20. After weighing our options and since it was our last park day we chose to stay, it really wasn't worth it to go and have to turn around and come back. Secretly I was trilled, I really wanted to see "Block Party Bash". It was something I had never seen. So we headed back in, grabbed some seats on the steps of the AI theater in the shade. These turned out to be prime seats. We were seated and shaded. Having just visited last week I can tell you they had them roped off and filled them at the last minute with VIP people. We took turns getting some frozen drinks to help with the wait.
I took this while we waited.
It took awhile to the Bash to get to us. It travels only so far, stops, performs then travels on to where we were and repeats the performance. While waiting Danielle showed off her hula hoop ability. She can keep going for as long as you watch.
Finally the parade hit us.
We ended up with one of the Green Army Men right smack dab in front of us.
He was a hoot!
When they asked the kids to get up and dance Danielle wouldn't move but Bailey joined right in.

As the parade moved on this is what we saw.
When this guy passed us he complimented us on coming in uniform and for grabbing the best seats.
As the parade ended people started lining up for the next Idols. I suggested we line up too but was out voted. Instead we jumped in line for "The Great Movie Ride". The line was out the door but with Tena's pass we went to the front. After loading one car we were loaded on the next round. I love this ride! Danielle has a love hate with it. She likes it but doesn't like the Alien or the Wicked Witch of the West. We ended up with the Gangster side. Thinks went okay until we got to the witch part. Tena reached from behind and grabbed Danielle while the witch was coming out. I had to physically restrain Danielle, she lost it and fumed for the rest of the ride. As soon as we got off I suggested another break. I'm pretty sure they headed back to TSM and we went to burn off some steam. I took Danielle to "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" playground.

After burning off some steam we were ready to meet up with Tena and Bailey.
I was really looking forward to this meal. We had eaten there once before and it was pretty good as far as the entertainment and we had enjoyed the food.
Waiting to be seated.
We were soon seated. We had a waiter and I don't remember his name because he wasn't very memorable. He did a good job as far as getting our orders and refilling our drinks but he didn't play wit us at all. But we did enjoy the tables sitting around us. They had Janice and she was in character all the way. The guy behind us got fussed at for spilling his milkshake and had to clean it up. The family seating right next to us spent a lot of time talking with Janice. She actually sat down between our 2 tables and visited with us all. She said her daughter was a waitress on property too and her son in law was a chef on property too but I can't remember where. Her daughter has a Masters Degree but makes more money being a waitress on property. I had the pot roast and it tasted good but there was a lot of fat. Everyone had milkshakes but me. I can't remember what Tena had but she liked it and it wasn't the fried chicken. I would really like to give this place another shot but only after I've tried a few more places. I think it might be time to go back to Sci-Fi. We haven't been there since 2002.
I once again suggested Idol but was over ruled I think we hit TSM for the last time.
I took these on the way out.
I took the girls to walk through One Man's Dream. We didn't see the movie but we enjoyed everything else. I really though I had taken pictures but I can't find them.
After that I took the girls on their last ride on RRC and of course we were still looking for that last pin. As the girls got off Danielle asked the CM working the register to look at his pins and guess what? Finally success! She had all the Princess Cuties.
It was getting late and since we had already seen Fantasmic we headed back to POP. Our last park day was done. I had meant to check in for my Southwest flight while in the park at Guest Services but totally forgot. When we got back I went straight to the desk and the CM check me in. I still got group A!
We enjoyed our day and I'm really glad Danielle and I got some time together. After 1 1/2 days we hadn't done it all. We missed Beauty and Beast. Tena didn't want to sit through any more shows. Star Tours was skipped. We had no interest in seeing Lights, Motor, Action. After seeing it once that was enough for me. Dennis loves it, I think it's a guy thing. The girls were way to old for Playhouse Disney. Indiana Jones is also something I only do every other trip or so. The only real disappointment was Beauty and the Beast, a must do for this trip we just took.
Since this was our last day we had to go swimming one more time. Tena needed to do her prepay on her luggage with Delta so I took the girls down. Believe it or not I actually got in the pool. After about 45 minutes I had had enough and was ready to get started packing, but still not Tena. Finally she showed up and said it took forever to get her bags taken care of. Do I really believe she was just paying for her bags? No, I'm sure she was taking a long smoke break too. As soon as she was settled in I got out and had Danielle get out too. We went back to the room to shower and get packed up. Tena and Bailey didn't stay out too much later than we had.
The plan for the next day was to finish packing up, check our luggage and hit DTD finally. We had a reservation for TREX for 11:00 a.m. Tune in to find out how our departure day played out.

A lot of people don't like the parade, but I really enjoyed it. We watched it on this last trip too and we all enjoyed it. It's real high energy. I'm not saying it's better than the old one but I like it in it's own right.
Danielle had hit her last straw.
I never got in the pool for our mid day breaks because my hair is too much trouble to fix. A night time swim was perfect.

What great parade pics! It's so bright and colorful. I haven't been to 50's PTC in such a long time. I really hope to go there on our next trip. Speaking of next trip....my DH gave me the ok to book a trip for Sept!

It was great to meet my first Dis friend.Wow you got to ride TSM so many times, I bet your arm was aching
I would have freaked too if someone had grabbed me during the scary part too
A swim sounds like a lovely way to finish your day
We did ride it a lot. After back to back rides I needed a break, the arm can only take so much. I'm very easy to scare and it looks like Danielle is too. The swim was a great way to relax.

I missed an update! DOH! Sounds like you had a great last day. I was happy you got some alone time with DD. Especially after the covert scaring on the Great Movie Ride. Prime Time is on our list for "next time" so we'll see if it actully winds up being booked. Love those Pop pools. They are so nice for winding down. Can't wait to see how the departure goes!

Our last park day was great!
I would like to give Prime Time another try, I think you girls would love it. We hit the bowling pin pool. Didn't ya'll try it out too? Departure day went somewhat like your departure but not quite as long.

I know I'm such a slacker. I just need to get this finished. Hopefully tonight I'll do that. I've been working on my pictures from the photopass from last month's trip. I'm almost ready to order, just need DH to take a look. It's so sad this day last month I was in Epcot looking forward to our Teppan Edo dinner. Looks like leftover for us tonight.
