Hurricanes Nightclub closing

Discussed on a few websites that Hurricanes at Disney Village will finally close its doors at the end of March.
Hopefully something that can be used all day will replace this space

Sometime last year I posted about the Jules Verne pub, apparantly the floor space they were offered is the same as that of Hurricane's.
Personally I would like to see a nice Italian restaurant.

Whoever thought that a nightclub would ever do well in disney must have been on something.

I cant say that I personally am disappointed, though I still think it's a shame because it's the only place like it in Disney, so it's definitely something for late teens who enjoy that kind of thing.

Having said that, WDW closed all theirs as well when they closed pleasure island, so I guess Disney are generally no longer interested in providing this kind of facility.

I actually wanted to go there and try it out! The same thing happened to me with Pleasure Island ... I think I'm destined never to go to a Disney nightclub.

We went to Hurricane's during DLP's 1st anniversary year but that was the last time we ever set foot in the place. A table of business men tried to "hire" me there when DH left me alone for 2 minutes to go to the bar! I was absolutely mortified, but DH thought it was hilarious!

BTW - drinks prices were sky high - 2 drinks each that night and we were skint but sober!
