Hurricane

Hello everyone! This is my first post, and unfortunately, not the most pleasant subject!

We are cruising on 9/28 (western), and I'm a little concerned about hurricane Isidore, and the effect this may have on our much anticipated vacation! Especially what it may mean for our stop in Cozumel, since it is apparently headed that way.

Can anyone offer me some words of wisdom or encouragement? Where else might the ship go if it is diverted by the storm??

We will be on that cruise too. This will be our first cruise. I have had several friends who have had hurricanes on their cruises. They told me not to worry about it. I am not going to sweat it - I am on vacation. Isadore should not be a problem for us. Please note I am also bringing childrens dramamine and bonine - just as a precaution.

But I belive the storm is already North of Cozumel??????Last I saw it was heading into the Gulf.

I echo the past posts - join us at the 9/28/02 discussion and at our parties! The more the merrier!

And I also get a bit nervous about the weather - taking extra bonine with me!!! We had to fly through HORRID weather in February (Atlanta to Orlando) and that scares me more than being on the water!
