We were at WDW during hurricane Helene a couple weeks ago. Our dad had a one day pass for EPCOT, which fell exactly on the day the hurricane/tropical storm hit Orlando. He is 71, uses a cane for support and has arthritic knees. The morning of the park day the weather was awful--windy, rainy, just plain nasty. The group consensus was that dad should not head out under those conditions.
My question: we have a one day pass for EPCOT that was not used due to the weather conditions. I understand that the ticket is not transferable and not refundable. We don't want to transfer it to someone else, and we are not asking for a refund. What we would like is to be able to use the ticket sometime--and it may be a while before he has a chance to use it. What are our options? Will Disney allow us to use the ticket we paid for sometime in the future? It won't be soon as we live in Michigan, not in the WDW area.
Who should we contact? Any help regarding this much appreciated.
