Hurricane, the parks and CBR. I'll be back UPDATE

UPDATE

Just wanted to check back in. The worst of the hurricane is over. We were lucky and didn't lose power or phones.

My roof sustained a lot of damage. It is a total loss. It's still there but will all need to be replaced.

We were so lucky compared to many. My daughter and son in law are here waiting to go back to their home in Melbourne. They don't know how their new house made out during the Hurricane.



Just wanted to say I will be back to the DIS as soon as I can after the hurricane.

I will be taking pictures of all things Disney and of course my favorite resort CBR after the hurricane.

We are as prepared as we can be. I have my family staying here since my daughter and son in law chose to leave Melbourne because of the hurricane.

I posted some pictures of MK and MGM today on my website. I also posted the same pics on my photo sharing site if that is easier for you.

The winds have picked up. No rain yet but it is raining along the coast where my daughters house is. The squalls are coming onshore and should be in my area in a couple of hours.

Safetymom - stay safe. I saw Juno Beach on the weather channel and it looks like they are getting some pretty stiff winds. The newsman could hardly stand straight to give his report. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of Florida. Take care.

We have strong winds and rain right now. The storm is coming from a different direction than it usually does.

Naturally the national news channels are covering coastal Florida, but I'm more interested of the story in Orlando since we had to cancel our trip because of this storm!
