Hurricane Matthew: How it's impacting resort stays

Did the Red Cross charge its relocated residents $12? Keep in mind, one is a non-profit, and the other is a Fortune 100 company that specializes in hospitality. That's a pretty absurd comparison.
The thing is, WDW guests at not fleeing a storm. They are being asked to stay inside for their safety during a storm. They could have purchased items to eat in their rooms before the storm shut everything down. Plus Orlando issued a curfew; that meant no one could be out driving around getting lunch meat, fruit, bread, etc, that Disney needed to make lunches to tide guests over until they could get to the dining facilities and get CMs to run them. I take it you have never lived through a hurricane or tropical storm.

I'm not sure you're getting this. Why charge $12 for this? What is the justification? If the sandwiches were the best Disney could do - that's fine. But why exploit the guests at the same time?
