Hurricane Hanna's - closure question

I thought I had read somewhere that while Hurricane Hanna's is closed through December 14, 2012, guests can bring their own alcohol down to the pool, as long as it is in a plastic cup. Does anyone know if this is true.

One of my favorite activities is relaxing by the pool with a drink! I have really nice plastic wine glasses I can bring.

I can't give you an exact answer to the question, but I was just there last week and I can tell you that a) they have a makeshift pool bar open serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages where they rent tubs and b) i did see a family with a huge cooler by the pool...no idea what was in it, but it was there, and that was something i had never seen before.

As pp said they will have a bar set up, we will be there Oct 26 and also enjoy having a drink by the pool. The past two year we have brought a cooler of beer ( cans ) and drinks with plastic cups and that is fine we were even chatting with the life guards . We will however be missing the music at HH, so I guess we will have to bring the iPod.
