Can someone describe this place to me? Is it a counter service with tables where you can sit down? Or more like a window where you order and carry out? Is there a place to sit and eat, or do most folks just carry their food to somewhere like the pool area?

And I guess the last question is - is it good?

It is a walk up counter outside the Beach Club in the Pool Area. I haven't tried the food but the drinks are awesome!

Agree the drinks are good there.

Hello, I just got back from staying at the YC the 24th-31st. We were at Hurricane Hannah's quite a bit, since we were at SAB every day. (LOVED IT!)
Anyway...the entire set up is pretty cool. You can either go there and stand in line, like a counter servcie kind of thing...or...what we did. They have gals come by in blue shirts and take your food and drink orders. They even have a little "traveling" cash register with them if you're using the DDP or room charge, it's really easy. The drinks are great and the food is a little better than fast food. We usally got the cheeseburgers. If you have any other questions, just let me know.

Thanks for the info. So there isn't really a place to sit there - you bring your food to your chair, room, etc? Not a big deal, I was just trying to picture the setup. JJ

They do have places to sit. There are covered tables with umbrellas. But most folks seem to eat at their chairs. Hurricane Hannahs is in the heart of SAB. However, there is an entrance/exit so you don't have to go through the pool area, if you're just walking the boardwalk and want to grab a bite. You could just enter there and order, and sit there at the tables. It's pretty convenient however you want to use it.

We found it to be very convient during our last stay. I really liked that fact that they had people come around and get our orders. We never had to leave our chairs to get our food and drinks. :thumbsup2

We always sit at the tables there. The chicken strips are also pretty good. We ususally order the kids meal for the DDs and they get a sandbucket to play with in the beach, sandy area of SAB. They also have some salads as I recall. A friend ordered one & it looked pretty good.
