Hurricane concern

I live in Fort Lauderdale, which is 3 hours south of WDW and seemingly directly in the hurricane's path across the state. We're STILL coming to WDW this weekend, as planned. Since the storm's more likely to hit here, it's better to get out of town anyway!

Dang! Are they giving them away over at the Gate now?? I'll have to run over and get one!

Yeah, come on over!

Heh, I think the developers of Champions Gate are trying to out-do Celebration for ridiculously high priced living.

This is why you will see my location change soon.

BTW--Most of us in the Orlando area are having a pretty good chuckle at the hysterics we're reading. It's business as usual around here folks. No one is boarding windows, there's no rush on Home Depot, plenty of gas, bread, and milk. And I haven't even heard that stupid "hunker down" phrase used by the media.

Yes, we're keeping a watchful eye, but we're not freaking out like "ya'll".

Anne

Anne - thanks for reassuring us all. We were due to fly into Fort Myers this Saturday. We decdied to fly to Orlando due to predictions. So all in all a few extra days at WDW then head to see family once storm has passed. Glad to hear all is "normal" in Orlando. Yeah!! Now I can get excited again!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:
