I haven't had music for 45 minutes now and I think Cruise got through even though there was no music.

I called the 800 number this morning and was told that they were closed. I called the 407 number at around 8:45, and was on hold for about 15 minutes, and was able to get PSB ressies. I got my CRT's earlier during the week. The cm I spoke to was from the Kansas City area, not Florida.

Just hold on, even after the music cuts out. I believe it cut off for about 5 mins when I was on hold (I was 2 hours on-hold remember, and I first connected at 7:18). You've got to expect some technical problems in the wake of a major storm like this; and there are folks there taking PSs, just fewer than normal bcs of Charley. And remember, the storm has passed already, so things are theoretically getting better down there now, allowing more folks to come in and take our calls.

Sorry to hear you didn't get CRT, cruise. Better luck tomorrow. Tammie/binkyj, we really are neighbors as I take the #505 Waltham Central Square express bus out of the Financial District for my daily commute; and we are less than 2 miles from Moody St, over by N-W Hospital. The name of this storm still cracks me up; I teach Sunday school and we have this terror of a 5 yr old named Charlie who is incredibly ill-behaved and disruptive (possibly possessed? only kidding). Having a man (me) in the Sunday school classroom helps a lot with his behavior, which is one reason I stick to it (for the benefit of my DD and the other students). So we already knew "Hurricane Charlie" and knew of his destructive capacity.

Pumkinboy - that is pretty funny. We live off of Main St. near the Chateau restaurant. Yummy food....but try smelling it at 6am when I am walking my dog
