How excited are we!!!!!!!!
We just bought our DVC m'ship in June (for those who count, that's 5 months prior to T-giving)...we "do" T-giving at Disney routinely so wanted our inaugural DVC stay to be for T-giving. Of course, nothing was available the Wed-Thurs of T-giving week. So we reserved for Fri-Sun and put ourselves on the wait list for Wed-Thurs.
I was going to wait until late August before giving up and paying cash for a ressie for Wed-Thurs...but this morning I checked "my DVC" and lo and behold, we're off the WL and in...
Both reservations are at SSR, our home resort and exactly what we wanted.
Hurray for the WLs! After reading about how hard it is to get reservations over major holidays past the 11-month window, much less the 7-month window, I wasn't expecting this. We're are just SO excited!
Now, on to experiencing Disney as DVC members...we're experienced Disneymaniacs as guests in the various resorts, but this will be our first time "going home"...did I already say we're SOOOO excited?!!!!!
