huricane help

What is everyones opinion on the hurricane? is anyone doing anything to help? I am going to have a money compitishion during our Spirit week at School.

Me and Arielfn9 and a few other girl scouts in our troop, we got permission to put up fliers around school to help with the people who lost everything in the huricane. And we have a box (or were going to have a box) that people can put money and random stuff to help the people, but i still feel like i'm not doing enough

Our school is having a money collection, but I want to raise more money.

Next Thursday, my family and I are going to donate as much as we can, but it feels as is that is just not enough. My mom keeps saying that she wishes there was a way to get there and help out with the relief effort, but since she works at a hospital and all, she can't get any time off.

i want to be out there helping, but there's no way that's gonna happen with school and everything. i hate seeing the people on t.v. who are crying b/c they've lost their families. my heart goes out to them. my school is having a collection,but like everyone else, i feel like i'm not doing enough.

my school is taking up money for it. We are great with rasing money. A few years ago we raised somewhere around 25,000 dollars for the local human association.

My Mom's going to Mississippi on the 17th and our school collected about $3,000 worth of food and supplies
