Hunting for The Beast

So I asked my 20 year old DD what her "must do's" are for our upcoming trip. Her reply "get a picture with Beast"

Can anybody tell me if he is ever available for meet and greets?

I remember reading he is now only at BOG restaurant during dinner. I don't think he meets in the parks anymore, could be wrong though.

I could be wrong, but he no longer does M&G. The only way you can get a picture now is a dinner reservation at Be Our Guest. It's only at dinner, not lunch. It is hard to get get a reservation, but I would try and get one. I got my reservation a week before my trip as they opened up tables and a room to house more guests. Good Luck!

As far as I know, as per the PP, he's only meeting at BOG.

Sadly, he's the prize at the bottom of the Be Our Guest dinner cereal box. You have to get a reservation and do the dinner to meet him afterwards.

Yep, he now meets only during dinner hours at BoG.

Sad he doesn't meet with Belle at EPCOT anymore! The Beast eluded me for a long time, he was always my must-meet.

Do try for that dinner at BOG. We absolutely loved the whole experience!

Agreed, it's just a tough reservation to get if your trip is soon.

I LOVED meeting him at BOG last fall. Because people finish dinner at staggered times, there wasn't really a line for him (maybe 2 people in front of us) and no one behind us, so we got a lot of time with him. It felt less rushed than M&Gs out in the park, and far less rushed than the pre-meal princess M&Gs. I wish that they would move to this format for Cinderella at CRT and Belle at Akershus, though I'm sure that the photo package with those meals complicates things.

There is typically a PP photographer at the. Beast meet at BOG.

Thanks for the info everyone. We are going the week of May 11, so I guess I will keep trying for that coveted ADR at BOG. At least I now know how I will spend every waking moment for the next 2 months

I think you can get it if you try frequently between now and then. I kept a window open on my desk for hard to get reservations and managed to get a couple late.

Do not miss Gaston! He is the best character meet at Disney! Watch a few videos of meets with him on youtube.

She is not wrong. Though I will say this...while we loved interacting with the Beast, if we didn't get a chance to do it again I'd be OK with that. Gaston, on the other hand, is a must-do. He's hilarious AND easy on the eyes. Win-win!

I get it. Back in my 20s, I had a picture with the Beast, which I kept on my desk at work.

"So...I met this guy. He's a little rough around the edges, but inside he's a real prince."

No Gaston M&G back then, sadly. Hoping we can find him this visit.
