Hungry Are The Damned! 10/15/07-10/25/07 - COMPLETED W/LOTS OF PICS!!!

Brenda! How could we not want to view your blog? I'd be surprised if your private message account wasn't full twice over by now.

Now, I know I haven't been replying as often as I'd like, but I just wanted to let you know that your reviews are amazing! Going way back to the tea, which is unusual because I'm not a tea drinker unless it's sweetened and iced (I am Southern after all, and sweet tea is an entity on its own) but that looked great.

And Spoodles, well I'm a firm believer that bread and cheese can solve all the world's ills.

Sorry to hear Kona wasn't as good as it usually is. I'm really hoping that that strawberry goo wasn't responsible for Jay's stomach distress. Blech! That restaurant is one that has always been on my list to get to one day.

And that quilt is great! I'm like BriarRosie, I can cross stitch and I'm trying (but failing miserably) at trying to teach myself to crochet. But that quilt, wow!

Ummmm, wow. Seriously overwhelmed by your responses ... :grouphug:

I hope you're not too disappointed - it's a pretty basic blog and I'm still transferring a lot over. I'm open to suggestions, by the way, from anyone who has more technical expertise than me (that's probably everyone).

Thanks very much - I really mean that. :goodvibes

You're ahead of me in the technical dept... I rely on my 11 year old nephew for help... :thumbsup2

Of course we want to read anything you review!! Sending you a PM now!

Ooooooh wait for me..... :goodvibes PM sending now...

I am slowly but surely catching up! I just finished reading about your Dream Fast Passes! How exciting! And for your birthday!!! That is so cool! When we were there last year, my son received a chocolate dream. We was getting one of those cone shaped bags and filling it with M&Ms. The CM told him he had one a dream and to fill it to the top. We had M&Ms the rest of the trip! Then almost as soon as we walked out of there a Dream Team member came over and asked us to be in the Family Parade. Which if you have seen it is not exactly exciting - but cool to us! Or at least to me. My kids were not nearly as thrilled. While we were in line for Mission Space, a CM noticed my FIL's veterans shirt and gave us all passes to the front of the line for Soaring. We felt very blessed the entire trip! But the prize I kept hoping for was the Dream Passes. Maybe next time we will win a castle stay!

 :headache:  :headache:

I knew this would happen ... now our pictures are all bunged up in the blog. Anyone who's had a chance to view ... I've sent out feelers for some technical assistance ...

Argh....just saw this...I was going to PM you so I could join in but I won't bother you now.

PM me anyway Kathy ... so far these are just pics from older reviews, so it's not like you'd be missing anything good. ;)

A lot of the pictures seem like half of them are cut off. (Especially the quiche from France.)

Appears we have solved the problem (for now ... ;) ).

Big thanks to Cass for helping me out ... :flower3:  And now I get to spend the afternoon cleaning house before having dinner with Jay's parents. I'm going to have to stop promising updates that I can't deliver ... :rolleyes1

Thanks again for your patience and your enthusiasm ... :grouphug:

Yea for CASS!!!! :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

So... did you take pics of dinner and when do we get a review??? :rotfl:

I'm just now kind of catching up and now you are starting a blog too!? I may have to wait until I finish school in May. I am right now avoiding school work. I like reading about food instead...

Just got home a few minutes ago ...

Where's the "fat with food" icon? :rotfl2:

Two appetizer platters, soup, salad, wine, entrees, dessert, cappucino ... :scared:

Jay's mom asked me if I had a tapeworm because in 14 years she's never seen me eat that much food in one sitting. :lmao: :lmao:

And yes ... we did take pictures.

You guys should have seen the looks we were getting from other patrons ... :rotfl2:

Where did you eat? I thought people only took pictures of food at Disney. Unless you work for Food and Wine magazine...

You mean you take pictures of all your meals!

I embarrassed my family so bad at Disney doing that. And even worse when I started showing people our Disney pics. Half of them were pics of food. Some people just don't get it. And if I try to explain that I did it to post a dining review online...even weirder!

So, next time you eat at McDonald's I expect to see pictures and reviews of your appetizer, entree, and dessert and of course you soda fountain flight!
:upsidedow

Hahahahaha!! :rotfl2:

We took Jay's parents out for dinner tonight at a restaurant here in town called Annie Gunn's. It's really good and hard to get into and I wanted to try my hand at a non-Disney review just to see how it felt (kind of a trial run before we go to Vegas in April).

So I took pictures of the whole meal. Jay's mom and dad were actually good sports about the whole thing. :thumbsup2

If I had any real culinary knowledge I'd try to get a job at Food & Wine Magazine ... but I don't know anything - I just like to eat! :lmao:

And drink. ;)

I used to be on a diet called My Food Phone . com, where everything I ate, I took a picture of it with my cell phone and sent it in a message to the Food Phone site. A registered dietitian would review what I ate on a daily basis and provide me with nutritional guidance. It was actually a really great program and I found it very helpful. HOWEVER, taking a picture of everything I ate got to be really annoying for my dining companions. It was too funny to be at a restaurant snapping pictures of my food. *giggle*

The weird thing is, I don't feel strange at all about taking pics of my meals at Disney!
