Anyone been watching HULU? It is not bad, if you want to watch old movies and current tv shows. My son told me that they can only have 5 tv shows from each series but I do not think that is right. I have a 26 " flat screen that I use as my computer monitor and it is actually pretty good! If you are home and pretty much house bound (hurt my knee) it offers a good selection of mindless entertainment.

I just saw something about this web site and others like it and how people soon will be turning off their tvs completely. Maybe cable and satellite tv prices will come down.

:thumbsup2 We have not used it yet, but want to try it out! We crack up at the Alec Baldwin commercial...as long as it is free, I have no problem with it!

That is the thing it is totally free AND you do not have to sign up or anything. That is what I like no password to remember.

I checked it out a few months ago, and found a LOT of clips from shows and very few full episodes and movies. Has their inventory increased?

Well I just got turned on to it this week but I watched full episodes of Ghost Hunters, The Office(current episodes), Family Guy and Simpsons.

Thanks for sharing this. I'm going to have to check it out.

I love hulu! I recently became addicted to Chuck and got the first season DVD off of netflix but hulu had the entire second season (so far). Really good quality on the video, much better than you tube or something.

I forgot to record Battlestar Galactica last Friday and Dollhouse so watched both of those on there as well. Their commercials are about 90 seconds or less so it almost seems commercial free.

90 seconds for the WHOLE show which as you said is like nothing compared to what we usually watch on regular tv. I swear I can make a turkey and wash my floor in the time it takes for one commercial break on tv.

It is certainly not complete but it works great when you forget to DVR something or you have 3 things on at once and can't time shift ...

I love hulu. It's a great way to check out shows when you've got the time

He is right for certain shows. I know we were watching The Office the other night and it says they are only able to post up to 5 episodes of the current season for a limited time. The oldest one was listed as expiring in x#of days. They do have tons of clips and things from more than just the five full recent episodes though.

Other shows must not be limited to the 5 current full episodes. CSI has a bunch of shows, but hulu links you to CBS to watch them.

I just peeked and they have a lot more movies than they did last fall when I first checked it out. They even have . . . GREASE II!!!!

There is so much television online that I was able to get rid of cable and then get rid of my tv altogether. The only thing I miss is channel surfing, I used to spend hours doing that.

Hulu is great ::yes::

My boyfriend has it on one of his gaming systems (don't ask me...) So we watch it on his TV sometimes. I like it!

Have you found a way to pick up any of the cable stations like the History Channel, Discovery Channel or Disney? They never air full episodes online. If I could figure out a way to get two or three of those channels once in awhile, I would drop our service immediately.

My little brother worked in the orginial development of hulu. When he was trying to tell us what he was creating, we sooooo didn't get it :confused3

Love it now though.

And he's moved on....if you want to check out the next cool internet thing, cruise over to http://www.howcast.com/

I'm always months behind what he's doing, but as he has been telling me since his MTV days...I'm not his demographic

I checked it out but I just do not get what it is. I know I am not his demographic.

BTW I watched a movie with J. Aniston and Jay Mohr today it was from 1996. Jay Mohr was actually quite cute and looked pretty much nothing like he does today. He looked kind of like Owen Wilson without the deformed nose and a thinner face.
