That they are working very hard at judging all the rooms... Over 2000 rides they have to ride... and they are riding their little hearts out.

They are looking into extending the judging for another day just to make sure they can ride them all....

Also she wanted us to remind everyone that you do not have to be in your room for them to judge it.

I told her I would let everyone know... so I am

I wanted to add that It was a hoot riding Dragonbugs ride! So much fun with us all bouncing around up and down! Good job Dragonbug! WOOT!!!!

And Monkey... can you believe our timing... We were in renpeners room and I said.. let's ride your kids ride... we arrive minutes before Hula!

I really hope they are considering those who registered by the first
example WITHOUT the spaces.

I wonder if I had registered as SpaceRaceBriarLori instead of
Space Race BriarLori, I wouldn't have gotten judged?

(I did get judged, and I registered with the spaces. I really hope those
who went by the first example from the newsletter WERE judged.)

Yeah she came by my room earlier to let me know I had registered correctly since I was worried about it. While she was there she mentioned that all the judges have a list of rides to judge and they can't judge eachothers rides. So I guess she's not my judge, but at least I don't have to stand on that tree anymore waiting to get a picture of a host in my room (since that's never happened before), since I got one of her while she was there!

Thanks for the update. I do know that I don't have to be in my room to be judged, and I have been in and out. I'm sure many others would agree with me though that after all the time and work to make a ride, its a treat to be able to greet staff and hear their comments when they ride. I'd be happy to see a flag either way though. And.. in case hula sees this.. If I'm not on her list for judging I hope that she will be able to come by and see my room at some point (even later this week), I think she will enjoy part of my ride.

as you can see from bugs picture I was telling Hula that she was wonderful for letting us know.... and letting me know that I could tell you all

I did want to ask about registration... but I am no good at pressing the subject... lol I just take the bones I am tossed and ran right here to share
Hopefully more will post on my If you been judged thread and we will know if the nospaces entries are considered correct soon... we DO know that the enties with numbers are being judged... let's hope the nospace entries are too...

From what I have heard.. Hula, Lily, Sparky, Dog, and Fin are the judges so that means around 400 rides per judge... 400!!!!

This information verifies what I've suspected; that this contest is one enormously-ambitious undertaking on the part of VMK staff. I really didn't see how they could judge all those rides in three days!

Kudos to all of these hard-working folks for doing whatever it takes to see that every entry gets judged.

Dragons ride was cool. I just saw a lot of my friends there and low and behold Hula is giving breaking news. I am not surprised and expected it would be imposible to judge them all even if they just peeked in.I had estimated at least a thousand enties seems that was the half of it.

I thought they would go off a master list and once judged it would be checked of list in computer and was more or less random. As far as staff in my room, this being the third ride Competition I've been in that would make three times I know of staff in my room. But then I don't spend a lot of time in my room. it's the start part I was worried about. A friend was worried that they put spacerace title (with spacerace one word, but with their title after a space) and I believe they got judged anyway, but I can't be 100% positive.
