Huge thumbs up for CPGV and Hotelkingdom Cust.Serv.

I do have to start this by saying we have never stayed here before so after all this work I hope it meets our expectations. But we saw so many positive comments here we booked a 3br at CPGV thru hotelkingdom for 9/25-10/3.

As we all know, Jeanne blew into town and we didn't make it.
United allowed us to cancel without any change fee and so did Hotelkingdom. We have been promised a full refund even though we cancelled the day before we were to arrive. That was the first positive news we had all week.

So, we then attempt to reschedule our trip as soon as possible and there are no more units at CPGV
Well, we were so keyed up about staying there we called CPGV and were put in touch with Hotelkingdom and they secured us a 3br for the same price we had initially.

Needless to say we are very happy and want to thank CPGV and Hotelkingdom for all their help. Now we just have to pray for nice weather this time.

I'm sorry you had to cancel but glad everything worked out. We were supposed to be there 2 weeks and only stayed one because of Frances (our week at CPGV was postponed also).........so I kind of know what you are going through.

I hope it is as nice as what you hear on these boards also. Our "substituted" week will be in Nov./2005. We won a week there on Skyauction for our friends too, so I want it to be nice for them. Hate to recommend something and then have it turn out "not so nice".

You didn't say when you will be going? I hope you get nice weather too.........Florida sure does deserve it.
