Huge project - need advice and hints

I decided to make 25 copies of identical pages and assemble them at crops because I won't have to 'think' about what I'm doing and can talk at the same time

The first two crops are in Florida, while I'm on vacation, so I'm wanting to *NOT* take my ATG.

What would you use for adhesive?

How would you package to go to the crops - all like parts together or all parts for one page together? ie cricutted titles and border parts

How would you package the finished pages? - I wasn't planning on putting them in page protectors because of the expense and because I expect entire blank albums will be donated by others.

Your suggestions for most efficient assembly method.

All advice will be most welcome!

That's a very generous thing for you to do!

For adhesive, I'd use whatever you used to use before you switched over to the ATG - whatever your old preference used to be. Although the ATG really wouldn't take up that much room in the suitcase!

It's hard to envision how the assembly would go without actually doing it, but I'd think that I'd want to package up all the like parts together (otherwise it would might get messy/confusing in transit), then do it assembly line version at the actual crop, ie do all photo mats, do all titles, etc, then the final step would be putting everything onto the pages.

For packaging - when I mailed a bunch of pages to Make a Wish last year, I put all the pages inside a super-large ziploc bag, then mailed it using a Priority Mail box, but instead of making the box into a box, I left it flat, put my package in, and taped up both sides. There's a reason I'm not a technical writer, so that might not make sense outside my head. Hopefully you can picture it. Another idea is a pizza box.

If they are all the same, I would pack like items together and assembly line the pages when you get there. That is what I do for my swaps.

What size are you doing? 12 x 12?

Are they wanting basic pages with photo mats and journal boxes? Or are they wanting more embellished pages?

DANG! That's a GREAT idea! and two votes for it (thank you, too, B & MissB) Now that i've packaged the parts for the three pages i've done in per page ziplock bags

yes, exactly 12 x 12, with mats and boxes - I'm cricutting titles and something for a border along the bottom of the page. There's a link to email for more information on the page I cited.

I have to admit, product dictated my pages. I used a lot of stickers and paper that I had or bought on sale. I stuck mainly to character themes - Mickey and the gang, Pooh, princesses, Nemo, etc. I figured you could really put just about any kind of vacation pictures on a page with Mickey on it and have it work. I also knew that they were going to a place where they could mix and match as needed. That way they could give the princess pages to the girls and the Peter Pan pages to the boys, if needed.

That works. I've got a ton of product - but haven't been able to use it - because then I wouldn't have it, you see.

This is a wonderful idea. I signed up to do pages also. I like the thought of just making the same page many times. I figure I can do that easily enought. Are you doing 2 page spreads of just single page layouts?

I did a title page (our Florida Vacation) single, a double page - What a bunch of Characters, and a double page - Family fun, so far. All the titles and borders are cricutted and Saturday, ALL day, I xyroned. Everything's packed in a box and I'll send it to the resort this afternoon. I have other two page spreads in mind, as well, and ultimately hope to complete enough pages for 25 albums.
