Huge piece of glass in my salad at Hollywood and Vine

I did not have a good dining experience at Hollywood and Vine. I started with the salad. It looked like it had been there way to long. When I got back to my table there was a big piece of glass in it, at least two inches long. Avoid!

Oh my Goodness! Did you bring it to the staff's attention?? How did they handle it?

No one was coming to our table so I had to bring it up to the Hostess where the front door was located. She sort of wisked me away and said I will talk to the manager. Noone came to our table for quite some time. So we just sat there. The manager came over and said all the salad items had been pulled off the line. She didn't charge us for two of the meals. I was there for the package deal/Fantasmic. I was hoping to eat somewhere else but she didn't offer that. We had no dinner that night. I tryed a hot dog at the show but it was wet and not edible.

How terrible! I can't imagine how a 2 inch piece of glass got in a buffet salad bowl! Someone could of died biting into that! We love the breakfest buffet at H&V but I am rethinking that now...

While I have only eaten breakfast here and it was just OK. So sorry to hear this, I would not have had an appetite either after this episode. I think they should have refunded all your meals and offered to find you seating at another restaurant.

I find Disney Studios food could use some improvement. I am not a fan of their restaurants. Over-priced and just so-so. We have only eaten dinner at the SciFi and will never return there. My children ate at H&V in Dec. and said the meal was disappointing. I will now cross this restaurant also off my list. I'm thinking of eating at my hotel or the boardwalk the night we do Fantasmic.

I have eaten in this resturant several times and have always enjoyed it. I have already marked it down to do a PS for my next trip.
