You are absolutely right!! That is pretty much what he said too. My nerves are just so shot over all this that I'm being too defensive. It just bugged me that he would even give any credence to what that crazy Randy said - I just want to feel like he's got my back 100%, and I wasn't feelin' that last night. I feel like my dh is supposed to be my hero, not doubting me. But perhaps I should give him more credit than I am.

Yes, maybe you are right in retrospect. It is easy to be logical after the fact. However, as many moms/wives can agree, it is understandable that you just wanted to be backed up by your husband in that moment when the crazy man was verbally attacking your family. We don't want logic in a moment like that, we want unconditional support from our significant others.

I'm glad to hear that unstable guy will be leaving soon.

Yes, you definately need to give him more credit. He is not doubting you. He is just asking you to be sure that your children aren't within an eyeshot or an ear shot of this lunatic.
