Huge Discount Question!!!!

Hi,

we´re from germany and don´t have much experiences in booking a trip to WDW.
I read a lot about AP-Discounts and the Best Rate Programm.
Unfortunately, we have NO idea how all this stuff works.
How do I get an AP discount in the Resort Hotels...
and when does Disney announce the discounts for May?????

Hello or should I say Guten Tag! One never really knows when Disney will release any codes or discounts. It's based on the marketing dept. I can tell you a good way to stay informed about codes and rates is to check www.mousesavers.com Mary does an exellent job of posting discounts. An option you may want to consider is going ahead and booking a room at rack rate(so you know you have one) and then having the price adjusted if and when a code or discount comes out. Have you ever been to Disney before? If so, you may want to call and see if you have a pin code next to your family name. These are great ways to get discounted rates, but once again totally random based on marketing. I continually check, and am waiting on a discount for our Jan. trip. I think it would be safe to say that around March might be the time you want to really start checking for your discounts.
