I posted this in another thread, but thought it might deserve it's own thread:

I'd love to know the room number (and size) of those rooms with the huge balconies. The ones I've noticed would all be pool views. They are arranged in the "curves" of the resort above the entrance doors. One set would be above the entrance to the Breezeway and the other set seems to be nearly above the entrance that leads to the elevator.

There may be other rooms with these big balconies, but I've only noticed the ones on the Dune's Cove pool side.

Anybody have any information about these rooms?

We stayed in Room 560 last summer. It was a studio and the balcony could have held about 20 people!!

we were in 253, a 2 bedroom on the epcot side, in January and the balcony was also huge

I think 553 has an equally large balcony....

Cool. Thanks guys, keep 'em coming. I'd like to make a list of all these rooms.

Just got back from a stay @ BCV in room 263 with a large narrow balcony facing Epcot. Second floor, but we still had a good view of the high fireworks at Epcot.

room 553 has a very long balcony, the length of a 2 br unit, but it is no wider than any other balcony. And, this balcony has a very great view!!!

We stayed in 223 - a dedicated two bedroom - in October. It had a balcony that spanned the entire unit with several small tables and chairs. The room faces the front drive and is just to the right side and above the walkway while facing the entrance of the Villas next to the Little Mermaid statue.

We are staying at the BCV in 2004(our first trip home) and would love one of the large balconies. Are there any in 1 bdrs that anyone knows of and what is the view.

Thanks
Judy

What does room 553 have a view of? When you say it is narrow, is it wide enough to sit in a chair? Also, is it a 2-bedroom (dedicated)?

We stayed in room 566 over Christmas. Its a studio all the way down at the end of the hallway overlooking the quiet pool and near the canal. The balcony was triangular and in one of the "turets". the funny thing is that between our balcony and the balcony of our nearest neighbor (who also had the same type of balcony) was a triangular wedge that no one could access. We wondered why they would make a spot like that instead of just making the balconies on either side bigger. Any ideas?
