First off, I hate politics.
secondly, ryan and patti, you're my heroes.
third, if you're for equal rights, you're for equal rights. you can't pick and choose who is equal and who isn't. so make up your mind. either you're for people being equal to each other in every way, or you think that some people deserve more rights than others.
and finally,
religion has nothing to do with marriage. the christians just like to think they made it up first. marriage is a legal status, not a religious one. why deny THOSE legal rights to two people?
